This prized vineyard is located on the southeast slope of the Chehalem Ridge, with over 13 different soils types throughout the property. In places, the earth is so rocky that the vines were planted using a pickaxe instead of a shovel and it cannot be farmed with a tractor. The resulting wines are deeply structured with layers of spice and red fruits. Rich and structured with layers of spice, earth, fig and plum.
