Deep, black aromatics. Infused plum & cherry notes predominate, reminiscent of fruit-infused Darjeeling tea. Firm acidity supports the succulent, savory highlights on the palate. Fresh-cut herbs & juicy fruit meld with floral flavors. Gardenia, rose petals, boysenberries, soy and spice. The palate is smooth & round with a malted aspect. This wine is plush & dense without being hedonistic. Crushed-rock, Brazil nut, dense tannins, thyme, rosemary and tar all play nicely together.
