2019 REX HILL Willamette Valley Pinot Noir Rosé is a beautiful, subtle, salmon pink. Delicate aromas suggest tamarind, kumquat, mandarin, lemon, beeswax, honeydew, berry, apple and peach as well as floral notes of honeysuckle, chamomile, and rose. The palate brings to the fore strawberry-rhubarb jam, persimmon and apricot notes with an energetic minerality and light touch of creaminess. Modest acidity allows the wine to be texture driven with weight and richness yet with a multi-layered, open-weave quality. Serve chilled but not too cold to allow the flavors and aromas to blossom.
