REX HILL sources from Block 26 of the famed Shea Vineyard, which is sandwiched between the Sea family’s own held blocks, used for their small-production family wines. On a sunny, southwest facing slope, Block 26’s vines show beautifully restrained fruit as they age, resulting in elegant, nuanced wines that are routinely in the top echelon of scores each vintage.
