About the Artwork:

Luminous Heart is a work by Arjen van den Eerenbeemt, born in the Netherlands but a long time resident of Tubac, Arizona.  Joan Erath gave A to Z Wineworks’ founder Deb Hatcher a similar, smaller piece by Arjen years ago.  Deb loved the way the colors danced and changed with different conditions: time of day, different interior lights, and viewing position.  Frustrated after long searching for a suitable piece for the difficult “fireplace wall” that becomes too hot for a canvas painting, Deb tracked Arjen down and asked if he would consider revisiting a theme he worked on decades ago.  He agreed and made our artwork during the winter of 2021.
