About the Artwork:

This is sparkling wine that will undergo secondary fermentation while it ages in bottle. Olivier is reaching into a wooden bin to arrange the bottles neatly nose-to-tail, and is coincidentally wearing a blue shirt, blue gloves and a blue mask. The strong lines of the wooden slats at the base of the bin give the image strength, contrasting with the horizontal bottles, and also lead us to the subject. There’s a pleasing balance and repetition in this image, and the wooden slats lead the eye right to Olivier.
