Song For An Architect

Medium: Corten Steel

Date: 1982

About the Artwork:
In 1982, Song for an Architect was built by sculptor Lee Kelly at his home studio in Oregon City celebrating the friendship between Kelly and architect William Fletcher.
In 1985, Fletcher designed the original REX HILL Winery, and in July 1989, Lee’s sculpture, a response to the beauty and precision of Fletcher’s architecture, was permanently installed in front of the building.
