Our Behind the Bottle series returns! On the third Sunday of each month, members of our cellar team—who work most intimately with our wines—step into the Tasting Room to share a closer look at what they do and pour wines that offer rare insight into their craft. Each glass reflects the care, intention, and hands‑on decision‑making behind every bottle.

Join Assistant Winemaker Mathieu for a closer look at the role barrels play in shaping REX HILL wines. In this Behind the Bottle session, you’ll explore how time in oak influences structure, texture, and expression. Guests will be guided by tasting room staff into the cellar in small groups, offering a rare glimpse into our winemaking space and the process unfolding behind the scenes.

Behind the Bottle sessions are complimentary to all guests visiting our Tasting Room on these afternoons. Reservations are encouraged; walk‑ins are always welcome. As this experience takes place in a separate location, please let our tasting room staff know if you’d like to participate.
